Zamek Dunajec w Niedzicy

Zamek Dunajec w Niedzicy, wzniesiony między 1320 a 1330 rokiem przez landgrafów spiskich z rodu Berzeviczych, miał za zadanie strzec strategicznego szlaku handlowego, łączącego Węgry z Polską.

W przeciwieństwie do pobliskiego zamku w Czorsztynie, losy zamku w Niedzicy okazały się łaskawsze, a obecnie pozostaje on w nienaruszonym stanie. Stowarzyszenie Historyków Sztuki jest obecnie właścicielem zamku, gdzie znajduje się Dom Pracy Twórczej. W obiekcie wydzielono miejsce na restaurację i niewielki hotelik, natomiast górne piętra służą celom muzealnym.

Zamek niedzicki zyskał również rozgłos jako plener filmowy. W latach 1955–1975 kręcono tu zdjęcia do filmów takich jak "Zemsta", "Mazepa", a także seriali telewizyjnych, m.in. "Janosik" i "Wakacje z duchami". Zamczysko było również inspiracją dla książki przygodowej "Ciotka, licho i niedzickie zamczycho" autorstwa Agi Paszkot. W 2011 roku stało się siódmym punktem w The Amazing Race Australia 2.
